Della Carta is a small studio featuring the art and calligraphy of Kathryn Podorsky. She fell in love with the art of calligraphy after addressing her brother's wedding invitation envelopes over ten years ago, and has been steadily writing ever since. She uses a traditional dip pen and oblique holder to produce originals in the same manner as the old world master penmen. Her calligraphy style is uniquely her own, and is recognized in and around the deep South as well as nationally. The lumehouse team produced this film for her in early 2012.
